Safari Snorkels are designed to maximize your engine performance by ensuring the highest air flow possible. This is done by relocating your air intake from a low, vulnerable position (such as your wheel arch) to a high, safe location (the snorkel ram head) to provide a constant supply of cold, clean air.

By moving your air intake to a higher point on the vehicle, Safari Snorkels can prevent water from entering your engine during water crossings, depending on your vehicle's wading and intake depths. They’re also ideal for travelling off the standard highway or bitumen where you may be exposed to dust, dirt or water.

There are two versions of the Safari Snorkel currently available, with the most popular releases being the newly added Armax Snorkel and the V-Spec snorkel.

Safari Armax snorkel is the brand new performance Safari Snorkel product line. These snorkels feature a new design tested in a custom-built flow bench to flow 25% to 70% more air than stock manufacturer air cleaner housing flows, while still providing a watertight raised air intake.

This means the Safari ARMAX snorkel provides the necessary airflow required to increase your vehicle's engine performance using engine management — making it the only product in the world to give you this performance!

Safari ARMAX™ Snorkels feature:

• Safari’s own Industrial Spec UV Stabilised Polyethylene.
• Safari’s rounded style Air Ram; however with a minimum 4” (101.6mm) neck and an optimised airflow, low restriction grill
• A LifeTime warranty
• Maximum design and flow performance tested by our in-house engineers
• Development and verification in conjunction with other soon-to-be-released ARMAX™ performance enhancement products

Safari V-Spec snorkels are the traditional Safari Snorkel range that is currently restricted to current model vehicles, except for superseded models. At this time these models are 70, 80 and 100 series Landcruisers, and the Nissan Y61 GU Patrol.

The V-Spec range is essentially unchanged from the current Safari Snorkel. The V-Spec range is:

• Manufactured in Australia from Safari’s own Industrial Spec UV Stabilised Polyethylene.
• Identical in appearance to the current versions of the Safari Snorkel.
• Available with a Life Time warranty.*
• Suitable for current model vehicles.

Safari Snorkel installation

So great, you found the snorkel for your vehicle, now time to think about how to get it on the vehicle.

We highly recommend ensuring an experienced 4x4 fitter installs your snorkel no matter the brand. They take approximately four hours to install and require precision and patience. Cutting the guard is required for installation — one wrong cut and you're up for a new guard, creating a costly mistake.

All snorkels come with a set of fitment instructions from the manufacturer and will require various hand tools and cutting devices.

So if you're not in the fitting game, speak to the experts. We have a convenient installation service available at our Brisbane showroom or we can deliver the goods to your local fitment centre.

Refunds will not be given for Change of Mind. Returns/Exchange of goods will only be accepted if:

• Good are faulty
• Exchange of product (same product, different vehicle) - the customer is liable for all associated charges including freight charges for the return of products, dispatch of new products, plus any gap fees for the product exchange.

You acknowledge that the credit will not include:

• Freight Costs, which must be borne by you.
• Fitting charges
• Service Charges
