Delivery Information and Freight Policy

1. GENERAL

Off Road Central employs systems to ensure products will be ready to leave on the shipping date. From time to time, freight companies do miss deadlines, and while every effort is made by Off Road Central to ensure correct and timely despatch, some freight may miss those deadlines.

Off Road Central has invested widely in the employment of systems to reduce the incidence of damage in transit. These include correct storage and handling of the product at Off Road Central, correct loading of goods onto outgoing transport, and all products come pre-packaged and wrapped. We believe that this is a significant and worthwhile investment, and is of genuine benefit to ourselves and our customers.

Please note, as we are an online store, we will not always have the Product you purchase in our warehouse stock. Should we need to order in this item we will advise you as soon as possible.

2. LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS

Upon receipt of the goods, the customer must:

  • Inspect the goods upon arrival and sign the consignment note as “damaged” or “subject to check” as the case may be; and
  • Contact Off Road Central with details of the goods i.e. work order number, consignment note number, date of receipt of goods, the carrier, nature of damage or loss. Off Road Central will pursue the claim with the carrier on the customer’s behalf. The claim is subject to the terms and conditions of the carrier and/or insurer. Freight insurance policies have strict guidelines concerning:
    -  Time within which the claim must be lodged;
    -  The amount the goods are insured to;
    -  Verification of damage or loss by either direct inspection, digital photos, or the availability of other evidence;
    -  Acceptance of liability;
    -  Payment of accepted liability;
    -  Claims must satisfy all terms and conditions to result in a successful outcome and payment.

Off Road Central employs several transport companies to despatch product throughout Australia on behalf of customers. Arrangements negotiated by Off Road Central may include beneficial freight rates. In some instances insurance is included in the freight charged to you. Freight and insurance (if applicable) are subject to the terms and conditions of the transport company and the Insurer. 3. RETURN OF GOODS

The cost of re-delivery of Goods returned to Off Road Central, must be paid by the customer unless otherwise advised by Off Road Central in writing.

Customers returning products to the manufacturer, will be subject to the manufacturers Return Policy and you may be liable to pay freight.

4. ADDITIONAL INSURANCE

Additional Insurance can be purchased through Off Road Central. Should you wish to purchase additional insurance please ensure you contact Off Road Central BEFORE making your purchase.

4. FREE DELIVERY

Off Road Centrals 'Free Delivery' or 'Free Shipping' offer applies to delivery within Australia only. Please contact us BEFORE purchasing if you would like a product delivered outside of Australia.

Returns and Cancellations Policy

1. ORDER RETURNS

Unless otherwise required by the Australian Consumer Law or other binding legislation, Off Road Central may at its discretion accept for credit, return of Goods subject to this clause and provided that:

  • The Goods are returned to Off Road Central within 14 days from the date of delivery; and
  • The Goods have not been damaged in any way by the Customer; and
  • The Goods have not been used and the Goods and/or the packaging of the Goods has not been handled, damaged or interfered with to an extent inconsistent with a, reasonable examination by you; and
  • The Goods have not been ordered or manufactured specifically by Off Road Central for you or items which are Off Road Central non stock lines; and

You acknowledge that the credit will not include:

  • Freight Costs, which must be borne by you.

The price of Goods that are returned by you and accepted by Off Road Central shall be credited by Off Road Central to you. The cost of re-delivery of Goods returned to Off Road Central, must be paid by you before Off Road Central will accept the return of the Goods.

Customers returning products to the manufacturer, will be subject to the manufacturers Return Policy and you may be liable to pay freight.

2. RETENTION OF TITLE

The title of all Goods supplied by Off Road Central remains with Off Road Central until payment for the goods is received in full from you.

3. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Any special build or non stock line orders may not be cancelled 12 hours after the order has been placed with Off Road Central, or, if the product has been dispatched, unless Off Road Central, in its sole discretion, otherwise agrees in writing.
