This kit has been designed specifically for the MITSUBISHI MR TRITON DIESEL MODEL (11/2018-ON)

Please note: due to excessive overhang created by the design of the vehicle, vehicles carrying greater than 600kg load constantly in the rear should be fitted with a front spring one specification lighter than normal specification. This would guard against "see-saw" effect at the rear of the vehicle. Failure to observe will result in rear leaf spring riding lower than the desired height and cause potential front shock damage.

Choose the right weight!
It’s important that when selecting your suspension, you take into consideration the weight on the front and rear of your vehicle. Tough Dog have simplified this to a few simple choices.
Front Setup - No Accessories, Steel Bull Bar or Steel Bull Bar and Winch
Rear Setup - 0-300kg, 300kg constant, and 500kg constant (Please note: additional options may apply for selected vehicles of higher weight tolerance.)

Nitro Gas Shocks
Tough Dog Nitro Gas shock absorbers have been designed with control and comfort in mind. They are built with multi stage velocity sensitive valving to ensure the shock is capable of performing at any speed. As the shock moves faster to absorb small bumps in the road like corrugations, the valving in the shock responds to maintain the ride control characteristics. These shocks are perfectly suited to light and medium four-wheel drives and vehicles with leaf sprung suspension.

Foam Cell Shocks
Tough Dogs award winning Foam Cell shock is the best-selling shock for all round performance. Whether you’re heading to the bush or beach on occasion, or on the road most of the year, Foam Cell shocks will handle your application. The ‘Foam Cell’ that makes all the difference is a micro-cellular foam insert that helps to drastically reduce the effects of shock fade, allowing your shocks to perform better for longer, even on the harshest of corrugations.

40mm Adustable Shocks
The 40mm adjustable shock brings the ability to fine tune your ride control to just about every 4WD user. The shock offers 9 different stages of adjustment, to fine tune the ride characteristics to your personal preference and application. As well as being fully adjustable, these shocks are equipped with our Foam Cell technology, minimising aeration and cavitation to maximise the shock’s ability to resist fade, and perform reliably in harsh and demanding conditions.

It is highly recommended when choosing your suspension components, you select to have the same style suspension (ie: Foam Cell or Adjustable) on front and rear.
(Please note all our suspension kits are sold assembled. )

Optional Extras:

Upper Control Arms
Fitment of Tough Dog upper control arms to vehicles that have lifts fitted greater than 50mm may suffer from premature ball joint failure due to droop l engths. The ute of strut spacers may also affect the performance and longevity of the UCA ball joint due to the limitations of the spherical bearing housing being breached or bound at full suspension droop. There will be no warranty either expressed or implied if the vehicle is used out of legal driving conditions that will include, but not limited to, jumping of the vehicle.

Installation
Installation is available at our highly equipped North Brisbane workshop. If installation is selected our sales team will be in contact with you to arrange a suitable date and time.
Please note due to high demand in our workshop, we may be booked out 2-4 weeks in advance. If you are requiring your booking sooner, please contact us prior to proceeding to confirm availability.
